Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you create an account or use PostQuest.
Effective September 12, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PostQuest. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PostQuest. PostQuest is currently operated and published by Aleksandr Samokhin as an individual; references to “PostQuest,” “we,” and “us” refer to that service and operator.
MCP clients and delegated actions
You may connect your own supported ChatGPT, Codex, or other MCP client to your own PostQuest account. The client acts on instructions you give it and can access only the PostQuest workspace you authorize. Your ChatGPT subscription is separate from PostQuest; no customer receives access to the publisher's Plus account or credentials.
Creating a draft is the default safe action. You remain responsible for reviewing and explicitly approving schedules, immediate publication, and deletion. Social publication can be public and difficult to reverse, and retrying a failed or uncertain request may duplicate an external action. Review the current post state before retrying.
PostQuest is not endorsed by OpenAI, and a directory listing or developer identity verification does not mean OpenAI has verified, certified, or guaranteed the service or its output.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
The service
PostQuest provides tools for content strategy, drafting, media management, scheduling, recommendations, optional AI assistance, and publishing through supported third-party platforms. Features may change as the service develops.
Your content and connected accounts
You retain ownership of content and media you submit. You grant PostQuest a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service and complete actions you request.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for your content and connected accounts. You authorize PostQuest to access connected platforms and publish content when you direct us to do so. Platform-specific terms and policies also apply.
AI-assisted content
AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your audience. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving content before publishing it, including checking facts, rights, platform rules, and legal compliance.
Acceptable use
You may not use PostQuest to:
- Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or publish content you do not have permission to use.
- Send spam, deceptive content, malware, or abusive material, or coordinate harassment.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or compromise the service or another account.
- Scrape the service, reverse engineer protected components, or use automated access except through interfaces we expressly provide.
- Resell or commercially exploit PostQuest unless we agree in writing.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are processed through Freemius and its payment providers. Prices, billing cadence, trial details, renewals, taxes, and cancellation terms are presented at checkout or in the billing portal. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charges shown there. You may manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal; cancellation does not automatically create a refund except where required by law or stated at checkout.
Plan limits and fair use
Each plan carries limits on connected social accounts, workspaces, AI credits, and media storage. Current limits are shown on the pricing page and in your billing settings. Media storage is a hard limit per plan (1 GB on the trial, 5 GB on Solo, 25 GB on Pro, 100 GB on Agency) and uploads are blocked once it is reached.
Scheduled and published posts are unlimited on Solo and Pro within those account limits. Publishing is billed to us per post, so Agency is subject to a fair-use limit of 5,000 published posts per month; if a workspace consistently exceeds it we will contact you before taking any action. The trial includes a fixed post allowance shown in the app.
Third-party services
PostQuest depends on third-party services, including hosting, AI, billing, email, authentication, and connected social platforms. Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. We are not responsible for third-party content, decisions, outages, or account restrictions.
PostQuest intellectual property
PostQuest and its software, design, branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using PostQuest or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, unpaid subscription, legal requirement, or harm to the service or others. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Service availability and disclaimers
We work to keep PostQuest reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, audience growth, publishing results, or the continued availability of third-party integrations.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, PostQuest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
